Last night, the Casa de Cultura Elena Poniatowska showed Revolución, a collection of ten short films by contemporary Mexican directors that each offer a different perspective on the current state of Mexico.

This film was released on November 20th, 2010, the 100th anniversary of the Mexican Revolution, in theaters with free admission, on television, and online, and has also been showcased at the Los Angeles and Berlin film festivals.

Here are some of our favorite shorts from the movie.

The Welcome Ceremony, directed by Fernando Eimbcke (With English Subtitles)

This Is My Kingdom, directed by Carlos Reygadas (With English Subtitles)

The Hanging Priest, directed by Amat Escalante (Without Subtitles)
